Netflix has renewed the animated series Haunted Hotel for a third season.
The show, created by Matt Roller, follows a single mother who manages the Undervale, a hotel populated by supernatural guests. She raises two children with assistance from her ghost brother and a demon living in a young boy's body.
Roller stated that the writing team has already finished the scripts for the upcoming season. He indicated that the production is aiming for ten episodes. The creator described the new stories as the biggest and funniest yet, noting they will be scary and sad.
The second season premiered earlier this month and entered the Global English TV Top 10 list. Since its release in September 2025, the first season has accumulated more than 15 million views.
Will Forte, Eliza Coupe, Skyler Gisondo, Natalie Palamides, and Jimmi Simpson are returning to the voice cast for the new season. The series is executive produced by Roller, Chris McKenna, Steve Levy, and Dan Harmon. Titmouse serves as the animation studio.
The third season is scheduled to arrive in 2027.
