Dak Prescott threw for 212 yards and three touchdowns, Javonte Williams rushed for a career-high 155 yards, and the Dallas Cowboys beat the Philadelphia Eagles 38-21 on Monday night. CeeDee Lamb caught two of Prescott's touchdown passes, and Brandon Aubrey kicked three field goals for Dallas.

The Cowboys improved to 3-4 and remain in the hunt for the division crown. The New York Giants lead the NFC East at 4-2-1, and Dallas holds two division victories, the most of any team in the division. "Our division, we're in it," said linebacker DeMarvion Overshown.

Philadelphia fell to 2-5 with a fifth consecutive loss, the club's longest losing streak since 2016. The Eagles previously dropped eight games in a row in 2012 and seven straight in 1994. Jalen Hurts, the Eagles' starting quarterback since 2021, is expected to miss the rest of the season because of blood clots in his lungs. Philadelphia is 3-6 without Hurts during that span.

Tanner McKee started in Hurts' place and completed 23 of 35 passes for 211 yards, with one touchdown and one interception. He guided a drive of nearly 10 minutes in the third quarter, ending it with a 4-yard pass to rookie Makai Lemon that put Philadelphia ahead 21-20. It was the Eagles' first touchdown drive of the third quarter this season.

Dallas answered late in the third. With the Cowboys trailing 21-20, Prescott found Lamb for a 16-yard touchdown in the corner of the end zone, and Prescott ran in the two-point try to make it 28-21. Prescott also connected with Lamb for a 9-yard score and with George Pickens for a 21-yard touchdown before halftime.

Aubrey kicked field goals of 55, 27 and 24 yards. The last kick pushed the lead to 31-21, and Williams closed the scoring with a 2-yard run. Dallas finished with 204 rushing yards, the first 150-yard rushing game by a Cowboys player since Ezekiel Elliott in 2018. "Javonte, man, the power, the acceleration, it was there tonight. He looked great," coach Brian Schottenheimer said.

Overshown intercepted McKee in the fourth quarter in his first game since a hamstring injury in Week 1. The play ended Philadelphia's chances. The Eagles allowed 416 total yards and 25 first downs while giving up an average of 6.4 yards per play. Philadelphia has surrendered at least 375 yards in every game during the losing streak.

Saquon Barkley returned for Philadelphia after missing more than two games with a hamstring issue. He gained 37 yards on a drive that ended with an 8-yard touchdown run, then went to the sideline medical tent and received treatment for his back. Barkley finished with 62 yards on seven carries, and the Eagles played without wideout DeVonta Smith. Kick returner Britain Covey left with a knee injury in the first quarter.

Nick Sirianni, Philadelphia's coach, addressed the team's situation after the game. "Football is going to deal you some tough hands at times," Sirianni said. "Can you get up and keep fighting?" Dallas hosts Arizona on Sunday, and Philadelphia visits Washington that night.

Philadelphia owner Jeffrey Lurie entered the Eagles Hall of Fame at halftime. Lurie bought the team on May 6, 1994, and the Eagles have appeared in four Super Bowls since 2004, winning two championships under his ownership. He spoke at halftime alongside Brian Dawkins and Donovan McNabb but did not hold a pregame news conference.
