The Dallas Cowboys ended a two-game losing streak with a decisive road victory over the Philadelphia Eagles on Monday night.

The final score was 38-21 in favor of Dallas, which improved the team's record to 3-4. This win kept the Cowboys within reach of the division lead, currently held by the New York Giants at 4-2-1. The offense found its rhythm after a sluggish start to the season. Quarterback Dak Prescott threw three touchdown passes, two to CeeDee Lamb and one to George Pickens. This marks the sixth time in his career that Prescott has achieved this milestone against Philadelphia. The ground attack provided a crucial boost. Javonte Williams rushed for a career-high 155 yards on 25 carries. He sealed the game with a two-yard touchdown run with 2:21 left on the clock. Dallas exceeded 200 yards in both rushing and passing for the first time since 1983.

Head coach Brian Schottenheimer faced questions about his recent public comments and the team's offensive output. Dallas had scored only 29 points in its previous two games, during which Prescott threw four interceptions. Schottenheimer had described himself as an "elite playcaller" on a local radio station earlier in the week. In the postgame locker room, he remained calm. He stated that the victory had nothing to do with desperation and that his players simply performed well. Prescott noted that he did not discuss the external criticism with his coach but saw a hungry version of Schottenheimer. He emphasized that the team supports its head coach.

The defense allowed an opening touchdown in each half but generated enough pressure to control the game. DeMarvion Overshown intercepted a pass from Tanner McKee. Quinnen Williams and Donovan Ezeiruaku each recorded a sack on the Eagles quarterback. Williams acknowledged that the defense did not play a perfect game but expressed pride in securing the win. The team had not won back-to-back games since a three-game streak last year. The last victory came on Oct. 4 against the Houston Texans. The Cowboys now host the Arizona Cardinals at AT&T Stadium. ESPN Analytics rates Dallas at a 57% chance of winning the NFC East. Prescott noted that the team must earn every victory weekly.

The win reset the narrative for a roster that had been under scrutiny. The statistical leap in offensive production provided a tangible measure of progress. The team will look to build on this momentum against a struggling Cardinals squad.
