The NFC East standings shifted on Monday night as the Dallas Cowboys defeated the Philadelphia Eagles 38-21 at Lincoln Financial Field. The result extends Philadelphia's losing streak to five games and keeps Dallas within striking distance of the division title.

Dak Prescott completed passes for 212 yards and three touchdowns to lead the Cowboys. He connected with CeeDee Lamb on two of those scores. Javonte Williams rushed for a career-high 155 yards and a touchdown for Dallas.

The Cowboys enter the game with a 3-4 record. The New York Giants currently lead the division with a 4-2-1 record. The Eagles, now 2-5, are in their longest losing streak since 2016.

Philadelphia quarterback Jalen Hurts is expected to miss the remainder of the season due to blood clots in his lungs. Tanner McKee started at quarterback and completed 23 of 35 passes for 211 yards, one touchdown, and one interception.

Dallas took the lead in the third quarter when Lamb caught a 16-yard pass from Prescott in the end zone. Prescott then scored on a two-point conversion to give the Cowboys a 28-21 lead.

Brandon Aubrey kicked field goals of 55, 27, and 24 yards for the Cowboys. Williams added a two-yard rushing touchdown to finish the scoring, marking the first 150-yard rushing game by a Dallas player since Ezekiel Elliott in 2018.

McKee drove the Eagles for their first third-quarter touchdown of the season, consuming nearly 10 minutes of game time. He threw a four-yard touchdown pass to rookie Makai Lemon to take a 21-20 lead. The Eagles failed to score again after that drive.

Saquon Barkley returned from a hamstring injury and ran for 62 yards on seven carries. He scored an eight-yard rushing touchdown early in the game. The Eagles owner, Jeffrey Lurie, was inducted into the team's Hall of Fame during halftime.

The Cowboys will host Arizona on Sunday. The Eagles will travel to Washington for a Sunday night game against another struggling NFC East team.
