The Los Angeles Chargers and Rams will meet on Sunday at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, California, with kickoff scheduled for 4:05 p.m. ET. The matchup pits a struggling visitor against a home team that has maintained offensive dominance despite an uneven start to the season.

On the trading platform Kalshi, the market price for a Rams victory stands at 74 cents per share. Conversely, a Chargers win is priced at 27 cents. These prices correspond directly to the implied probability of each outcome. The SportsLine Projection Model, which simulates every NFL game 10,000 times, aligns with these market signals. The model projects the Rams will win in 73% of those simulations.

The statistical contrast between the two rosters is sharp. The Rams hold the league's best offense in total yards, averaging 399.1 per game. Quarterback Matthew Stafford leads the NFL in passing yards with 1,989. Despite this volume, the team ranks 11th in scoring, averaging 24.3 points per contest. Key personnel issues persist, with defensive tackle Myles Garrett out with a knee injury. The Rams have also dealt with special teams mistakes and disciplinary penalties during their 3-4 start.

The Chargers, currently 0-6, present a different set of challenges. Their offense is the lowest-scoring unit in the league, averaging just 15 points per game. Quarterback Justin Herbert has thrown for 190 yards per game but has also accounted for eight interceptions against five touchdowns. The team has managed 168 rushing yards through Herbert, while running back Omarion Hampton leads the ground attack with 289 yards and three touchdowns. The defense allows 25.2 points per game, a figure that is 2.5 points higher than the Rams' defensive average of 22.7.

In the point spread markets, the odds for the Rams winning by more than 6.5 points are nearly even. The "Yes" side trades at 51 cents, while the "No" side, which covers a Rams win by six points or fewer or a Chargers victory, trades at 50 cents. The projection model suggests the Rams will win by 10 points, with a 57% simulation rate for covering the 6.5-point spread.

The over/under market for total points sets the line at 44.5. A game exceeding that total trades at 48 cents, while the under trades at 53 cents. The model projects the combined score to reach nearly 50 points. The Rams have scored at least 34 points in two games this season, while the Chargers have allowed at least 22 points in all six of their games.

The Chargers have been sacked 21 times this season, a factor that may influence the pace of the game. Byron Young, who has 4.5 sacks for Los Angeles, will target Herbert. The Rams' offensive group includes receiver Puka Nacua with 485 yards and running backs Kyren Williams and Blake Corum, who have 492 and 316 yards respectively. The market pricing reflects a clear expectation that the home team's offensive volume will overcome the visitor's defensive vulnerabilities.
